This is a genuine BMW square headed bolt, part number 23 71 1 130 250. The number stamped on the part is 23711130250; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1130250. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearbox suspension. It supersedes the older number 1246549, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 106 diagrams, among them Gearbox suspension (23_0050) and Gearbox suspension (23_0051). It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
