The number stamped on the part is 13531721246; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1721246. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Injector nozzles and lines. It supersedes the older number 1715281, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M40 or M42 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Valves/Pipes of fuel injection system (13_0289) and Fuel injection system/Injection valve (13_0366). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 53 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
