Genuine BMW part 82 73 0 300 929: Slidning block. The number stamped on the part is 82730300929; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0300929. You will find it on our Merchandise & Accessories shelf, under Other Universal Accessories parts. It supersedes the older number 0146823, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Roof box (03_3154) and Roof box (03_3155). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 29 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Roof box 350 (0391366).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
