06 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW siren, part number 82 92 9 402 827. The number stamped on the part is 82929402827; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9402827. You will find it on our Merchandise & Accessories shelf, under Other Universal Accessories parts. It supersedes the older numbers 9401933 and 9404312, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Alarm system (03_0983) and Alarm system (03_0984). It weighs about 380 g (0.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
