The number stamped on the part is 25127525053; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7525053. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearshift. It supersedes the older numbers 7525043, 7525060 and 7529441, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (325i and 330i, 2001–2006), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Gear shifting Steptronic, SMG (25_0313) and Gear shifting Steptronic, SMG (25_0352). It weighs about 90 g (0.2 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
