Set touring case — a genuine BMW part, number 46 54 2 315 185. The number stamped on the part is 46542315185; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2315185. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Luggage system. It supersedes the older number 2300000, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Touring Case (46_0101) and Set of case holders / touring case (46_0139). It weighs about 7.2 kg (16 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
