Set rubber mounting — a genuine BMW part, number 31 12 1 123 552. The number stamped on the part is 31121123552; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1123552. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Front Axle parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1116587 and 9056389, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1123553.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them Front Axle Support/Wishbone (31_0002) and Front Axle Support/Wishbone (31_0004). It weighs about 130 g (0.3 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
