Genuine BMW part 51 16 0 143 454: Set of cap covers, painted. The number stamped on the part is 51160143454; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0143454. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older numbers 0001074 and 0001075, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 2000–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Outside mirror (51_3692) and Outside mirror (51_3837). It weighs about 306 g (0.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
