What's Included
Set, chain drive — a genuine BMW part, number 11 31 8 623 601. The number stamped on the part is 11318623601; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8623601. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under CAMSHAFT. It supersedes the older number 8621976, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 1.1 kg (2.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
