Genuine BMW part 64 11 6 917 001: Sensor f. auc. The number stamped on the part is 64116917001; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6917001. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older number 6924755, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Radiator/Frame (17_0080) and Radiator/Frame (17_0137). It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Installing Set Automatic Air Conditioner (9405891).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
