What's Included

Self-locking hex nut — a genuine BMW part, number 33 52 6 773 882. The number stamped on the part is 33526773882; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6773882. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1137360, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 26 diagrams, among them Retrofit kit, Performance chassis (03_0068) and Retrofit kit, Performance chassis (03_0069). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.
