Genuine BMW part 31 33 1 092 887: Self-locking collar nut. The number stamped on the part is 31331092887; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1092887. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Front Axle parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0141304, 0150329, 1091585, 1120157 and 1 other, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9904295.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 248 diagrams, among them Front Seat Backrest Frame (52_0498) and Front Seat Backrest Frame (52_0499). It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set of add-on parts, silencer (0151439).
