Genuine BMW part 33 12 1 205 138: Securing plate. The number stamped on the part is 33121205138; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1205138. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 0152631, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1996–1999), with the S50 engine. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine — and the European-market versions.
