Seat trim, outer left — a genuine BMW part, number 52 20 7 249 295. The number stamped on the part is 52207249295; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7249295. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Seatbelts. It supersedes the older number 7123577, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, basic seat (52_2990) diagram. It also comes in BMW kit Set of covers (0152943).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
