Genuine BMW part 17 11 2 245 970: Sealing strip. The number stamped on the part is 17112245970; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2245970. You will find it on our Cooling System shelf, under Radiator with mounting. It supersedes the older numbers 2245590 and 7707932, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318tds and 325tds, 1993–1996), with the M41 or M51 engines.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Engine Oil Cooling (17_0091) and Charge-air cooling (17_0092). It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
