03 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW screw, part number 33 33 1 119 171. The number stamped on the part is 33331119171; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1119171. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Rear Axle parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1117548 and 3604188, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Crowngear Set/Differential Case (33_0020) and Rear Axle Carrier (33_0183). It weighs about 27 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
