The number stamped on the part is 16131184527; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1184527. You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Ventilation, emission monitoring. It supersedes the older number 0146482, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2001–2006), with the M54 or S54 engines.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Exp.Tank/Activated Carbon Container (16_0420) and Exp.Tank/Activated Carbon Container (16_0488). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 3 g (under 0.1 lb).
