The number stamped on the part is 11621728372; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1728372. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Exhaust manifold. It supersedes the older number 1716837, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines.
