The number stamped on the part is 46632315117; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2315117. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Motorbike fairing, windscreen. It supersedes the older number 4195988, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, touring and compact (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them Slipstream deflector (46_0185) and Slid.Lift. Roof-Cover/Ceiling Frame (54_0187). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 3 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
