Safety pressure switch — a genuine BMW part, number 64 53 8 390 534. The number stamped on the part is 64538390534; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8390534. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older number 1390324, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 8390536.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
