This is a genuine BMW safety belt adjuster left, part number 72 11 9 061 259. The number stamped on the part is 72119061259; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9061259. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Parts and accessories, body parts. It supersedes the older number 1949727, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9060641.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 440 g (1.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
