This is a genuine BMW rubber mounting, part number 11 72 7 571 866. The number stamped on the part is 11727571866; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7571866. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Secondary air system. It supersedes the older number 7506211, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.

BMW draws it on 12 diagrams, among them Emission Control-Air Pump (11_3280) and Emission Control-Air Pump (11_3377). BMW's catalog calls for three of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
