Rod without rubber mounting left — a genuine BMW part, number 31 12 1 130 089. The number stamped on the part is 31121130089; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1130089. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Other Front Axle parts. It supersedes the older number 1130597, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1139999.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 2.3 kg (5.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
