This is a genuine BMW roadmap Middle East & Northern Africa SD, part number 65 90 2 297 298. The number stamped on the part is 65902297298; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2297298. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 2183894, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the SD navigation road map (77_0241) diagram. It weighs about 6 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
