Genuine BMW part 61 62 0 006 597: Retrofit kit, rear wiper. The number stamped on the part is 61620006597; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0006597. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other General electrical system parts. It supersedes the older number 9404297, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Rear window wiper (03_2506) diagram. It weighs about 3.0 kg (6.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
