Genuine BMW part 82 11 9 403 142: Retrofit kit, M front spoiler, primed. The number stamped on the part is 82119403142; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9403142. You will find it on our Merchandise & Accessories shelf, under Other Universal Accessories parts. It supersedes the older number 2250117, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them BMW type approval (01_1409) and Retrofit, M aerodynamic kit (03_0774). It weighs about 3.9 kg (8.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
