Repair kit bellows — a genuine BMW part, number 32 13 1 096 465. The number stamped on the part is 32131096465; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1096465. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under steering system connectors. It supersedes the older number 1094933, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan (320i, 323i and 328i, 1999–2005), with the M52 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Steering Linkage/Tie Rods (32_0940) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 185 g (0.4 lb).
