Rear left sealing betw.door and column — a genuine BMW part, number 51 71 8 221 199. The number stamped on the part is 51718221199; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8221199. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 8188085, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 touring (316i, 318i, 318tds, 320i, 323i, 325tds and 328i, 1994–1997), with the M41, M43, M51 or M52 engines.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Door weatherstrip, front (41_0011) and Door weatherstrip, rear (41_0024). It weighs about 68 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
