This is a genuine BMW rear heatable seat switch, part number 61 31 8 360 872. The number stamped on the part is 61318360872; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8360872. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Switch. It supersedes the older number 0152664, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Various switches/Cigar lighter (61_1652) and Fridge, centre console rear (61_2014). It weighs about 30 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
