Primed rear apron — a genuine BMW part, number 51 12 0 392 902. The number stamped on the part is 51120392902; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0392902. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Door, rear. It supersedes the older number 0392906, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Aerodynamics package (03_0859) diagram. It weighs about 3.0 kg (6.6 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Aerodynamic package primed (0392412).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
