This is a genuine BMW pipe clip, part number 16 12 6 753 244. The number stamped on the part is 16126753244; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6753244. You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Lines. It supersedes the older number 0149401, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N40, N42 or N45 engines.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them Fuel Pipe and Mounting Parts (16_0500) and Fuel tank breather line/carbon canister (16_0528). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
