Genuine BMW part 01 49 0 002 597: Owner's manual, radio/navigation. The number stamped on the part is 01490002597; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0002597. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Other Technical Literature parts. It supersedes the older number 9791589, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Radio navigation E46, SA606 (01_0090) diagram. It weighs about 116 g (0.3 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
