This is a genuine BMW O-ring, part number 13 64 1 743 576. The number stamped on the part is 13641743576; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1743576. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Fuel injectors, starting valves.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 1992–1999), with the M43 engine — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 316i 1.6, 316i 1.9 and 318i, 1997–2001), with the M43 engine.
