Genuine BMW part 01 29 0 022 046: Mounting instruction. The number stamped on the part is 01290022046; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0022046. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Other Technical Literature parts. It supersedes the older number 9791196, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (320i, 323i and 328i, 1992–1999), with the M52 engine — and the European-market versions. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them BMW assembly instructions (01_0299) and BMW assembly instructions (01_1401). It weighs about 5 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
