This is a genuine BMW mounting information, part number 01 29 9 785 066. The number stamped on the part is 01299785066; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9785066. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Other Technical Literature parts. It supersedes the older numbers 9783018, 9783750 and 9783893, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Mounting information, Owner's Manual BMW (01_1400) and Mounting information, Owner's Manual BMW (01_0233). It weighs about 45 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
