Moulding clamp — a genuine BMW part, number 51 13 8 262 422. The number stamped on the part is 51138262422; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8262422. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 0300227, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 touring (323i and 325i, 2000–2005), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them exterior trim / grille (51_3960) and exterior trim / grille (51_4881). BMW's catalog calls for ten of these at each place it is fitted.
