Metal tube, corrugated — a genuine BMW part, number 61 13 6 918 242. The number stamped on the part is 61136918242; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6918242. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Plug connection, terminal. It supersedes the older number 0300454, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Fridge, centre console rear (51_5968) and Repair parts, optical fibre cable (61_1578). It weighs about 9 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Retrofit, coolbox individual seats (2186495) and Retrofit Business package (2220083).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
