Genuine BMW part 51 46 7 250 582: Luggage storage, rear. The number stamped on the part is 51467250582; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7250582. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 6959998, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Rear Window Shelf (51_4986) diagram. It weighs about 1.9 kg (4.2 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Curtain fitting kit (0429671) and Curtain fitting kit (0429675).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
