Genuine BMW part 72 11 1 868 996: Lower strap, rear. The number stamped on the part is 72111868996; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1868996. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Parts and accessories, body parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1850075, 1868880, 1868937, 1868959 and 3 others, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 18 diagrams, among them Safety belt rear (72_0071) and Safety belt rear (72_0072). It weighs about 255 g (0.6 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
