Lock (with key code) — a genuine BMW part, number 32 31 0 002 737. The number stamped on the part is 32310002737; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0002737. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under Other Steering parts. It supersedes the older number 0002738, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1092764.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (318i, 320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M50 or S50 engines.
