Genuine BMW part 51 24 7 193 807: Lock cyl. boot lid/tailgate, coded. The number stamped on the part is 51247193807; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7193807. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 7127890, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Trunk Lid/Closing System (41_1501) diagram. It weighs about 170 g (0.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
