The number stamped on the part is 51478119680; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8119680. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1919172 and 1958205, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and coupe (318i, 320i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M44 or M50 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Floor mats (51_1899) and Floor mats lock (51_4222). BMW's catalog calls for eight of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
