Genuine BMW part 51 71 8 233 797: Left roof frame gasket. The number stamped on the part is 51718233797; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8233797. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 8171107, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 touring (316i, 318i, 318tds, 320i, 323i, 325tds and 328i, 1994–1997), with the M41, M43, M51 or M52 engines.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Door weatherstrip, front (41_0011) and Mucket / trim, entrance (51_2201). It weighs about 630 g (1.4 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
