The number stamped on the part is 52108001801; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8001801. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. It supersedes the older number 0000615, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M44 engine.
BMW draws it on the Individual series 97 Japan (91_0240) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 614 g (1.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
