Genuine BMW part 63 17 8 357 397: Lamp lens fog lamp left. The number stamped on the part is 63178357397; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8357397. You will find it on our Lighting shelf, under Fog lights and auxiliary lights. It supersedes the older numbers 1387067 and 8357399, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single parts, fog lights (63_0270) diagram. It weighs about 450 g (1.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
