This is a genuine BMW knurled bolt, part number 26 11 1 226 478. The number stamped on the part is 26111226478; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1226478. You will find it on our Drivetrain & Axle shelf, under Other Drive Shaft parts. BMW has since replaced it with 1206718.

It fits the E36 coupe and convertible (323i and M3, 1998–1999), with the M52 or S52 engines.
