This is a genuine BMW jack MLK 1.2, part number 12 52 7 502 929. The number stamped on the part is 12527502929; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7502929. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. BMW has since replaced it with 0030685.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Contact system MLK (12_1459) diagram. BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 1 g (under 0.1 lb).
