This is a genuine BMW ISOFIX platform and frame for Baby Seat, part number 82 22 0 142 305. The number stamped on the part is 82220142305; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0142305. You will find it on our Merchandise & Accessories shelf, under Other Universal Accessories parts. It supersedes the older number 0017038, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them BMW Baby Seat 0+ Isofix (03_3062) and BMW Baby Seat 0+ Isofix (03_3063). It weighs about 9.8 kg (22 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
