17 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW ISA screw, part number 07 12 9 904 838. The number stamped on the part is 07129904838; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904838. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older numbers 9906907 and 9919367, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan (318i, 1992–1998), with the M40 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 15 diagrams, among them Starter Parts 1,4kw (12_0536) and Stanchion (31_0527). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
