Inner hex bolt — a genuine BMW part, number 34 11 1 123 072. The number stamped on the part is 34111123072; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1123072. You will find it on our Brakes shelf, under Front wheel brake. It supersedes the older number 1119993, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (M3, 2001–2006), with the S54 engine.
BMW draws it on 96 diagrams, among them Front brake / brake disc (34_0758) and Front wheel brake disc perforated (34_1423). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Retrofit kit, carbon-ceramic brake (2358378).
